Contours of Climate Action: Our Planet, Our Lens’ a vibrant photographic tapestry to mark World Environment Day 2026 was held at Kolkata Centre for Creativity KCC on 9th June, 2026.

This was the 4th edition of the photography competition and was curated in collaboration with British Deputy High Commission Kolkata, Kolkata Centre for Creativity and Kolkata Society for Cultural Heritage.

The competition attracted over 250 entries from India and across the world.

The Finalists were felicitated at KCC during the inauguration ceremony for the exhibition which continued for a week.

The distinguished panel of Judges comprised of renowned nature and conservation photographer -Dhritiman Mukherjee, Senior Climate Advisor, British High Commission – Haimanti Poddar and Wildlife & Natural History Filmmaker and Green Oscar Winner -Ashwika Kapur.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata, Subrata Paul, Past President of IBSA in the presence of Dr. Debanjan Chakrabarti -Director, British Council East and Northeast India, Amitava Ghose, Chair of Membership Council and other guests.
