An informative and experiential East Kolkata Wetlands Walk was organised by INTACH for IBSA members on 1st Feb 2026 to commemorate World Wetlands Day.Thank you to those who turned up for today’s tour of the East Calcutta Wetlands. We appreciate Mr GM Kapur, State Convenor INTACH along with Dr Jayanta Sen and Ms Swarnali Chattopadhya for making it possible. The tour was enlightening, but also an eye opener and deeply alarming as it was a glaring reminder of the brazen destruction of our city’s environment.
