INDO BRITISH HERITAGE CUP – CRICKET AT EDEN GARDENS 2025
The 6th edition of our annual cricket match was played at the iconic Eden Gardens on 28th December, 2025 with representation from Bengal Heritage Foundation (BHF), Indo-British Scholars Association, British Deputy High Commission, Kolkata and the British Council. It was a celebration of friendship, sportsmanship and shared Indo-UK heritage and love for the game.
This year’s tournament stood out for many reasons. It featured two women umpires for the second consecutive year. Adding to the momentous occasion was a brilliant woman commentator, Annesha Ghosh. One of the highlights of the day was supporting the talent of grassroot cricket by presenting cricket kits to five Under 15 girls, selected by CAB and Jhulan Goswami.
IBSA members and their families got a visual treat to watch the match from the B.C Roy clubhouse gallery.
Our gratitude to Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) and all the stakeholders, partners and sponsors for making the Indo-British Heritage Cup 2025 an annual flagship event on our calendars.
