On 25th November 2025 IBSA recognised Kolkata Police Officers for their exemplary service on the roads of Kolkata during the festive season in the presence of our Chief Guest Shri. Manoj Kumar Verma, IPS – Commissioner of Police.  Special Guests present were Shri. Subhankar Sinha Sarkar, IPS – Additional Commissioner of Police III, Shri. Rupesh Kumar, IPS – Joint Commissioner of Police – Traffic, Shri Amit Verma, IPS – DC 1st Battalion along with IBSA President Mrs. Reetasri Ghosh and Dr. Debanjan Chakrabarti, Director British Council – East and Northeast India.

 

The sixth edition of this event, initiated by past President (late) Dr. Sandip Chatterjee in 2018 and represented by his wife Dr. Uttara Chatterjee, was held at the heritage Limelight Building, which serves as the Police library and Museum. Over the years this event has grown into a valued tradition, and this year’s gathering of fellow IBSA members and senior Police officers carried that spirit forward.
