In June 2025, the 2nd IBSA Delegation visited the UK, following the Silver Jubilee trip in 2022 led by then President Mr. Rajive Kaul and Vice President Mr. Subrata Paul.

 

From 2–4 June, a 14-member delegation, led by President Mr. Abhrajit Mitra, Past President Mr. Rajive Kaul, and Convenor Mr. Anamitra Chatterjee (Chair, Education Council), visited London and Cambridge.

 

The programme included iconic institutions such as the House of Lords, LSE, Lincoln’s Inn, the British Council, and a full-day engagement at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, Emmanuel College, and Trinity College. A working meeting with the British Council featured an IBSA presentation.

 

Highlights included an inspiring session at the House of Lords with Lord Karan Billimoria, followed by an invitation to witness a live parliamentary debate. The delegation also enjoyed an evening reception at Lincoln’s Inn and a special dinner hosted by Bengal Heritage Foundation, strengthening the Living Bridge with friends in the UK.
