IBSA organised a heartfelt remembrance meet for late Dr. Sandip Chatterjee, a distinguished Neurosurgeon, on 20th October 2024, at President Mr. Abhrajit Mitra’s residence. Dr. Chatterjee was the President of IBSA from 2018 to 2020.

Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata, Dr. Debanjan Chakrabarti, Director of British Council, East & Northeast India, Mr. Sanjay Budhia, MD of Patton group along with past Presidents of IBSA Mr Subrata Ghose, Mr Rajive Kaul, Mr Subrata Paul reflected on Dr. Chatterjee’s invaluable contributions, both professionally and personally. A touching video montage highlighted memorable moments from his IBSA tenure and Vice President of IBSA, Reetasri Ghosh closed with poetry and a few lines from Dr Chatterjee’s favourite poem. Dr. Vivek Dutta rendered a beautiful rendition of a Tagore song and ended with a group song which touched a chord.
