To mark the World Environment Day 2024, in its 3^rd edition Indo-British Scholars’ Association (IBSA) in partnership with the British Deputy High Commission Kolkata and Earth Day Network felicitated winners of the pan India photography competition with overall theme – Restoring Environment. The competition focused on the theme “Restoring Environment” and also highlighted the issue of climate change, which was brilliantly captured in the photos!

The Felicitation of the Finalists was held at the British Deputy High Commission, Kolkata on 30 May, 2024. Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata was the Chief Guest for the evening.

This annual photography competition received 252 entries from 52 cities spread across India, UK, USA, UAE, Canada, South Africa and Bangladesh. Our distinguished panel of Judges comprised of Regional Director, Asia, Earth Day Network, Karuna Singh, Nature and Conservation Photographer, Filmmaker, Dhritiman Mukherjee and Film Producer and Director, Satrajit Sen.
