The UK Alumni Associations Award 2023 was hosted by British Council at The Oberoi Grand on 4th March 2023. IBSA was recognised for “Best Social Media Presence”.

The award was received by IBSA President Mr. Subrata Paul and Program Chair Ms. Reetasri Ghosh along with other prominent IBSA members present at the event.

IBSA also led sessions on ‘How To Build Alumni Chapters’ and “How to increase Media Presence” at the Alumni Conference.  A guide book on Building Alumni Chapters 101 created jointly by British Council and IBSA was also launched at this event by Andrew Chadwick, Global Programme lead, Alumni and Outward Mobility, Higher Education and Science.

The gala awards night also featured Deepa Malik as the Chief Guest along with Sourav Ghoshal. There were memorable performances by band Bhoomi and stand up comedy show by Anubhav Pal. The evening concluded with a networking reception and dinner.
