IBSA and British Council Kolkata jointly organised a special evening on 14th July 2022 at British Council with three outstanding speakers discussing how progression occurs in a gendered society. They shared fascinating experiences as they scaled the heights of success in their respective fields.

Dr Scott Taylor (Associate Professor  & Director of External Engagement, University of Birmingham), joined us on a virtual platform to share Special Remarks. The panel included  Prof. Usha Menon (Professor of Gynaecological Oncology, MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, London), Ms. Urmi Basu (Founder & Executive Director, New Light) and Prof. Niladri Ranjan Chatterjee (Professor of English and Gender Studies, Kalyani University). Discussion was moderated by Ms Radhika Singh (Director Transformation, British Council), engaging in conversation with the Speakers while sharing her own career trajectory.
