As part of the Silver Jubilee celebration, IBSA took a special Scholars Delegation to the UK from June 20^th – 29^th  2022. The objective of this landmark event was to strengthen the India-UK connect through sustainable progress and explore opportunities and scope of collaboration on academic front, industry linkages and hospitality services. The IBSA delegation comprised of Business leaders including Women Entrepreneurs and Academic leaders.

Highlights of this trip:

1. The Innovation Hub, Imperial College London

2. Oxford’s Jenner Institute – where the AstraZeneca Vaccine was developed and launched in India as Covishield by Serum Institute. Sir Adrian Hill, Director, Jenner Institute, took the delegation around the facility and briefed about the development of the vaccine.

3. Hult Ashridge Business School

4. University of Birmingham – Interaction with the International Development Centre and various      faculties.

5. London Business School

6. NPTC Group of Colleges in Neath, Wales

7. Meeting with Lord Karan Bilimoria, President Confederation of British Industry at the House of Lords to discuss opportunities of collaboration.

8. Social interaction over dinner with Bengal Heritage Foundation.
